How do I effectively mute and unmute the mic?

    How is Drag'N Go used?

  1. In any environment where you need to take Dragon dictated text and transfer it to a computer that doesn't have Dragon installed on it. That can be a Thin Terminal, a Windows computer, a Mac, a Citrix terminal, anything that has an available USB port. Anything that can accept a USB keyboard, for example.Jump back to FAQ List

  3. Yes. The target dongle appears to the system as an ordinary USB keyboard and does not trigger or cause any monitoring or security alerts to the system as it truly is just sending type written keystrokes to the target computer at about 300 words per minute.Jump back to FAQ List
  4. Can Drag'N Go™ be used if the sending computer is a Mac?

  5. No. The sending unit of Drag'N Go is designed to be used with a Windows operating systems running Dragon Medical Practice Edition, Dragon Legal, and Dragon Professional.Jump back to FAQ List
  6. What versions of Dragon are compatible with Drag'N Go?

  7. While primarily designed for the Dragon Medical Practice Editions, Drag'N Go will also work equally will with and is compatible with the Professional and Legal versions of Dragon. For the medical versions it's compatible with the current Dragon Medical Practice Edition 2, Dragon Medical Practice 1 (Version 11 of Dragon Medical), Dragon Medical 10, Dragon Medical Small Practice Edition 10, Version 9 and 8 of Dragon Medical.Jump back to FAQ List
  8. Is Drag'N Go going to interfere with other devices, sensitive medical equipment, or other electronics in my facility?

  9. No. Drag'N Go is designed using the new Low Energy Bluetooth LE standard which is encrypted and very low energy while still maintaining a range of at least 33 feet. They system is FCC approved and CE approved.Jump back to FAQ List
  10. Are there any security risks with Drag'N Go?

  11. No. First of all, the USB dongle on the target machine is only seen as a USB Human Interface Device Keyboard and has no memory, upload or download capability. It can not provide any viruses since all it can is send keystrokes that are transmitted from the sending computer that Dragon loaded on it.Jump back to FAQ List
  12. Is there any type of built in test on the hardware or software?

  13. Yes. The software contains error checking and communications testing to alert the user that the sending dongle has been inserted. These tests are also done upon the insertion of the target dongle on the target machine. The system performs a round trip communications check between both dongles and verifies that the target computer can accept keystrokes.Jump back to FAQ List
  14. What if several doctors are using multiple Drag'N Go units in the same area?

  15. Each Drag'N Go pair is uniquely paired to each other and multiple units can operate in the same area with out interference.Jump back to FAQ List
  16. What if I want to do my Dragon dictation on my own Dragon equipped laptop and then later in the day transfer the patient files to a variety of different computers in one or more facilities?

  17. Easy! Simply use the multiple mailbox function in the Drag'N Go software. There are up to five special memories/mailboxes that will store your type written reports that you dictated using Dragon Medical. Then when you get to the facilities, merely take the target dongle, insert it into the first computer where you want to transfer the information, open up the contents of the pre-dictated text and say, "Move it." And the text will be transferred to that first computer.
    Subsequently, you can take the target dongle to additional computer, one after another, wherever you wish and plug the dongle in, wait a few seconds, pull up the mailbox or history for that particular dictation and say, "Move it."
    This allows you to dictate either real time in front of a computer you are going to transfer to or you can transfer the text later. Drag'N Go saves a history of everything you've dictated in a daily log.Jump back to FAQ List
  18. What's the normal way of using Drag'N Go? How does it work?

  19. Dictate your reports and do all of your editing on your Dragon equipped laptop or Windows Tablet. That can be templates, letters, briefs, diagnosis, histories, analysis, etc. and the Drag'N Go screen will capture all that. When you're happy with it and you want to send it the computer that is not equipped with Dragon, merely insert the target dongle to the target machine and the text will be moved to the target machine.Jump back to FAQ List
  20. What if I don't have the cursor in the right spot on the target machine and all the text that I moved over with Drag'N Go doesn't appear there because the cursor is in the wrong spot?

  21. Merely get the cursor in the right spot on the target machine and say, "Move last," and the last thing that you sent will be sent again. Drag'N Go never loses what you say. That will be retained in daily history files.Jump back to FAQ List
  22. What if I want to copy and paste parts of a diagnosis that are the same for another patient?

  23. Easy! What you do is open up the history log, highlight the section of diagnosis or verbiage that remains the same and then do a copy and paste function into the main Drag'N Go window and then say, "Move it." You can mix and match any text from a previous dictation into a new dictation that you want to be sent to the target computer.Jump back to FAQ List
  24. I want to use a wireless Dragon approved headset microphone such as the VXi VoxStar or Plantronics SaviGo. When I am using it I don't want to have to say, "Wake up," or, "Go to sleep," to turn the mic on and off when I'm walking around and when I'm using this in a tablet mode I don't have a keyboard readily available. How do I effectively mute and unmute the mic?

  25. Easy! There's a touch sensitive On/Off button that is visible at the bottom of your tablet that is built into Drag'N Go. Merely touch the area of the screen to mute or unmute your microphone.Jump back to FAQ List

  36. What is the warranty for the dongles?

  37. The warranty is one year excluding abuse. Abuse includes water damage, physical bending, cracking, dents, etc that are the result of abuse. Make sure you don't accidentally put it through the washing machine or the warrant will be void.Jump back to FAQ List
  38. What is included with the Drag'N Go wireless Kit?

  40. Is Drag'N Go licensed for use on multiple doctors' computers or multiple dictators' computers?

  42. Do I have to own Dragon to use Drag'N Go?

  43. Drag'N Go does require Dragon in order to work successfully. You will need to have Dragon Medical, Dragon Legal, or Dragon Professional.Jump back to FAQ List
  44. Will Drag'N Go work Dragon Premium or Dragon Home Edition?

  45. Some functionality is available with Dragon Premium and Home Edition. You will not be able to verbally say, "Move it," and have the text moved over, but you can tap the "Transfer Text" either with your mouse or finger, if you have a touch screen, and move the dictated text to the receiving computer.Jump back to FAQ List
  46. Can I simply type or copy and paste text into the Drag'N Go window on the sending PC and transfer them to a receiving computer?

  47. Yes, you can do this. You don't have to have Dragon to use the product. This may come in handy if you need to distribute and have target computers receive information from various paragraphs or sources on your receiving computer.   50. Is Drag'N Go HIPPA compliant?

  51. Yes, it is inherently HIPPA compliant because first of all the dongle only has a limited range of around 33 feet from the receiving computer. It is the Low Energy Standard, and it is also encrypted so no third party can intercept the data. The laptop that is being used as the sending laptop is running Dragon Medical, for example, as long as that computer has user log on with user name and password then the data on the computer is secure as well.Jump back to FAQ List
  52. How long has Drag'N Go been available?

  53. It has been under development and in continuous testing with a number of physicians over the last 24 months and is now made available to the market as of March, 26, 2015.   55. There's a rate control within Drag'N Go that lets you slowdown actual typing rate that's received by the target computer. If the target computer is running lots of tasks and is a very slow computer you can adjust the sending rate so that you don't overwhelm the target computer.Jump back to FAQ List

  58. When I receive the Drag'N Go devices and the software what do I do?

  59. Double click on the software supplied and run it. The software will install itself. Upon completion of installation you will have an icon on your desktop. Double click the icon to run it for the first time. At that point it will ask you to insert your registration ID supplied with your purchase and then Drag'N Go software is ready to go. Follow the wizard to add that will allow you add macro keystroke commands to your version of Dragon. Insert the sending dongle into the sending computer and launch Drag'N Go which will find your version of Dragon and open that for you automatically, or you can manually point Drag'N Go to where the Dragon software you want to use. Then you can begin using Drag'N Go. When you are done dictating just merely say move it and the destination computer will accept the text.Jump back to FAQ List
